WE’RE FRASER COAST OYSTERS
Fraser Coast Oysters is a family run business located on the beautiful Fraser Coast, directly opposite K’gari (Fraser Island). The small coastal hamlet of Poona is where we call home on a day to day basis and run our land operations from.
We presently run a 6 hectare lease upon which we are growing tropical oysters which are endemic to the South Eastern Queensland region.
By using state of the art equipment and farming practices we are striving to grow award winning oysters which will be available to the local market in late 2025.
The pristine waters of The Great Sandy Strait are the perfect location for growing our product. In future, we hope to also produce seaweed, clams and sandfish to complement our oyster growing operation.
